VIDEO

Creating videos has been a huge part of my life. Being able to tell stories and present moments to people in a unique and authentic way has become a passion of mine. Being in baseball and being a player has basically given me unlimited access to everything that goes on in the clubhouse, during practice, on the field, and off the field. This has allowed me to be able to tell stories that help teams and players connect emotionally with their fans. Making videos and creating content has gathered a following of over 28,000 people across all of my social platforms.

WHO WE ARE

The Purpose of “Who We Are” is to show Gamecock fans the true heart and character of the 2023 South Carolina Gamecocks Baseball team. Through many ups and downs, injuries, sacrifices, and hard work, the team managed to have a very successful season coming up just short of making the College World Series. Being able to portray those emotions through this video was an awesome experience. Both my own footage, and footage from the Gamecocks streaming platform, Gamecocks+, were used. I posted this video to my personal YouTube account and it has over 7,000 views and also garnered a lot of attention on X.

Prestigious: the Ethan petry story

This video showcases the story of Junior first baseman and outfielder Ethan Petry. Petry is a member of the Gamecocks Baseball Team. With an already astounding resumé, Petry is on the brink of history in Columbia. Heading into the 2025 baseball season, Petry is close to breaking the South Carolina all time home run record and solidifying himself in the record books as one of the best to ever wear the South Carolina Uniform. Get an inside look at Petry's story, his swift rise to stardom in Columbia, and what it would mean to him to have his name etched in history and a Gamecock Legend.

COME GET SOME

This video was produced the week after I created the “Who We Are” video. It was never shared publicly, but it was shared among the team to get them excited for their upcoming Super Regional against the Florida Gators. Beating the Gators earlier in the year was super exciting, but going on the road and playing them on the road for a chance to get to Omaha was a difficult challenge. Showing the team that they were one step away from accomplishing their goal of getting to Omaha through a video was a great opportunity. Firing the team up before the series boosted morale and reminded them that we were one of the best teams in the country. Both my own footage, and footage from the Gamecocks streaming platform, Gamecocks+, were used.

THE CAROLINA RISE TAILGATE

I was asked to create a video for a former South Carolina NIL Collective that highlighted their tailgate event at the South Carolina versus North Carolina football game in Charlotte, North Carolina. My idea was to portray the small details of the event while showing the people gathering together to support the Gamecock Football team and having fun. I did not want to include much dialogue because I wanted to let the footage create the mood of the video. This project was used on the Carolina Rise social media accounts.

MY FIRST GAME IN 609 DAYS

This is a video I posted to my YouTube channel that finalized my 16 month journey of returning to play. It has gotten over 21,000 views as many of my followers and fans of Gamecock Baseball were anticipating this video for a long time. My sophomore year of college, I tore the ulnar collateral ligament in my right elbow, forcing me to undergo Tommy John surgery and sidelining me for a whole athletic season. It came with many tough challenges that required extreme mental fortitude to stay positive and get back to being healthy. But, during that process, I was able to document my rehabilitation process and share it with my followers on my YouTube Channel. I felt that nobody had really shown the detailed in’s and outs of undergoing Tommy John surgery on social media. This made me feel obligated to share it with my followers and educate them on what the rehabilitation process is like while also giving people who were in the same situation as me something to relate to. I had a tremendous amount of support from all my followers throughout the whole process and I was always excited to share updates on how I was doing and what was to come next. I always take pride in my content on being authentic and genuine, and this is a video that highlights that trait perfectly. This video highlights my first start back from surgery, my reaction, and everything else that came along with this special weekend.
